Concerning the Trinity

You are welcome exactly as you are.

In many traditions, the Sunday after Pentecost is Trinity Sunday, so that is what we will consider this week. For most of us, faith in the trinity is a bedrock belief. Yet seldom has such a crucial doctrine had so little mention in the Bible. We will ponder the origin of the theology of the trinity, and what it may mean for us today. And, we will consider more broadly how our theology and belief systems develop over time.

Not for the upcoming Sunday but the last: I'd like to thank the congregation for your kind words and care when I was not feeling well during church. I'm on the mend!
